A 19th Century French Patinated Bronze Bust of a Classical Maiden – by F. Barbedienne

A classical bronze sculpture of a classical maiden with ribbons around her head. She wears a robe with folds to the front. On the reverse it is stamped ‘F. Barbedienne Fondeur’ with a Collias Brevete foundry stamp. She sits on a black and dark red marble plinth. Height: 28cm. There is some minor age related wear to the plinth but the piece is in good condition.
