An 18th Century Portrait Miniature of a Young Lady in a Florentine Frame c. 1780

Description

A charming late 18th century portrait miniature of a young lady in a pink silk dress, her hair upswept and following of her shoulder. The portrait is framed in a lovely gilt Florentine frame. The portrait is small measuring 4.3 cm (without frame) but the work is very detailed. The Florentine frame is typical of the period being gilt and of scrolls. The miniature is in good condition as is the frame. Some age related wear. Including frame the miniature measures 12cm high x 8cm width.
